Earlier this year, I was given several mixed dahlia seedlings by Clare Wratten – I think they’re Bishop’s Children. A couple of orange ones have opened over the last few days, and today was an absolutely glorious deep magenta one.
As I was bringing the washing in, I noticed that a bumble bee had found it – so phone photo, as I didn’t want to waste time fetching any of the decent cameras.
